Nutrient deficiencies occur when the body doesn’t get enough of the vitamins minerals, or other essential nutrients for optimal health. These deficiencies can lead to a variety of health problems ranging from mild to severe. Understanding nutrient deficiencies is crucial to maintaining overall well-being.

1. Iron Deficiency: Iron – The need of iron is immense.
Cause: Inadequate dietary intake blood loss or poor absorption.
